About  Iko's Ki Daisuki

Iko celebrates the Joy of Japanese Language and Healing. Iko's mission revolves around three core elements: teaching the joy of speaking Japanese, facilitating healing sessions for inner peace, and capturing the essence of nature through her  healing photography. We believe in the transformative power of language, wellness, and the natural world. Join Iko in exploring these enriching experiences that enhance happiness and well-being.

Iko

Iko was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1973. Since her childhood, she’s always loved being nature. She always escaped from busy Tokyo and went to mountains with her friends.

In her late 20’s, She got fascinated by Native American culture at a bookstore in the middle of Tokyo, and decided to come to the U.S.

Since then, her new journey has begun. Being an interpretive volunteer ranger at Grand Canyon National Park was one of her most favorite times, followed by an interpreter for Japanese clients in Sedona. Then life started lead her to a different direction and she became healing practitioner. Over 20 years, she’s been dedicated to Reiki (she learned in Kyoto), Cranio sacral therapy, and other intuitive work. Opportunities of teaching Japanese has come naturally in this past 5 years. As she taught, she re realized how deep and beautiful this language is, and made her want to share more.

She loves her families in Japan, and ones here in the U.S. Living between two cultures and languages has been wonderful and challenging at the same time, yet she feels it’s her mission to be a bridge.
